Q: What is "Shiatsu Massage Therapy”?

A:“Shiatsu Massage Therapy" is derived from the system of Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, and is used for preventing injuries and ailments through specific pressure points throughout the body. There are more than 350 pressure points in the body, aligned with certain internal organs, along specific meridians; meridians are defined as "invisible energy lines". The "points" along these meridians, called acupressure points, may be pressed, held or manipulated to unblock stuck energy or to encourage the flow of blood or fluids to this area. Stimulation of the pressure points through kneading, tapping, rolling and squeezing, like those programmed in all Omega Massage Chairs, can re-energize the internal organs and free blocked energy. Physical and mental stress can be relieved through these therapeutic massages, making you more alert and efficient in your everyday life and rejuvenating your physical strength.

Q: What is this new Air Massage all about?

A: The Air Total Body Air Massage utilizes air bags embedded inside the back, seat and leg area of the massage chair. Air bags will inflate once you activate the air massage feature, to squeeze and release your muscles for an ultra relaxing massage.
